| Three Credential Options |

It is important that you apply for ministerial credentials that fit your experience, biblical knowledge and maturity. This gives you the greatest possibility for successful development. There are three primary credentialing options granted through Elim Fellowship.
CHRISTIAN WORKERDescription - Christian Worker credential is a recognition of the initial call into ministry and serve to identify the individual's call in the early stages of its development. Each Christian Worker must be under the supervision of a minister recognized by Elim Fellowship.
Duties - Their responsibilities are dependent on the minister under whose oversight they may be working.
LICENSED MINISTERDescription - The Licensed Minister credential is granted to those who have demonstrated both a calling and an ability to minister. This gives the Licensed Minister a chance to gain experience in their Call and to form character to match it. They will be actively engaged in ministry, growing in their knowledge of the Word and purposing to give their lives wholeheartedly to the Lord and His Kingdom.
Duties
To preach the Word.
To officiate at funerals. To administer water baptism by immersion. To administer communion. To perform other duties consistent with the Christian ministry. ORDINATIONDescription -Ordination may be granted to those with recognized and proven public ministries over an extended period and who devote a significant amount of their time to such ministry. The candidate for ordination has demonstrated maturity in character and attitude and be sound in doctrine and Biblical knowledge.
An applicant holding ordination with another recognized church body, whose ministry is well known, may receive a Recognition of Ordination Certificate at the discretion of the Council of Elders. Accepted candidates shall be ordained by the laying on of hands by a presbytery, which shall be composed of ordained ministers (preferably three or more). One of them must be a member of the Council of Elders. Duties

To solemnize marriage according to the laws of the states wherein they minister. It is recommended that an approved form of marriage service be utilized. To officiate at funerals. To administer water baptism by immersion. To administer communion. To perform other duties consistent with the Christian ministry.
