We have been involved in ministry development in Micronesia. In Kiribati we established a school and a mission base that continues today.

In Nauru, we were able to be involved in laying the foundations for a church plant that has grown to over 1000 members on the island in 4 different congregations today.

In Guam, we planted a Recovey Church with the Salavation Army called the LIGHTHOUSE OUTPOST. We then established the first Mens Residential Recovery Program called the LIGHTHOUSE RECOVERY CENTER.

In 2002, we formally incorporated ELIM PACIFIC MINISTRIES to promote community transformation in Guam and the Pacific Rim. We also pioneered a new church outreach we call ZION FELLOWSHIP that we still pastor today.

In 2004 we opened a residential recovery center for Women that we call OASIS EMPOWERMENT CENTER. We added several new outreaches later which include, THE SECOND CHANCE SHOP, and READY-2-WORK that provides employment support for individuals with disabilities.

In 2007 we stared leading a LIVING WATERS outreach to promote restoration and healing to the sexually broken and those needing inner healing through listening prayer.

Guam is strategically located in the Western Pacific with a diverse population and unique challenges. We welcome your participation and intercession that God's Kindom will be increasingly manifest in this region.

Looking what the Lord has done, is truly marvelous in our eyes. God has provided through amazing avenues to keep this extensive outreach open through challenging economic times. This multi-dimensional ministry thrust is extremely practical in nature and we rejoice with each life that is transformed. Truly Jesus makes all things new!

Announcement

Rob and Allison have been involved in church planting and ministry development in the Pacific Islands since 1988. Together with their 5 children they have pioneered ministries in Micronesia in remote places such as Kiribati and Nauru. Since 1995 they have been based on Guam with a practical ministry focus and an emphasis on restoring broken lives and recovery from addictions.

They currently pastor a growing church called ZION FELLOWSHIP and lead a team of 18 staff working in several ministries. The OASIS COUNSELING CENTER, has 12 beds for women to find freedom in Christ as they overcome addictions, homelessness and other life-controlling problems. Women may stay up to 6 months in the Oasis homes while they receive counseling, prayer-therapy and case management support in their journey of recovery. The READY-2-WORK Project has helped many individuals with disabilities gain work experience and jobs. The Second Chance Shop is a place where people come for prayer and affordable used clothing. The Prevention Project this year has been gaining tremendous favor in the community with the REAL STORIES DVD Project. They are now expanding their reach into Japan as they are now overseeing a new church in Hiroshima.

In 2008, they established a Missionary-in-Training INTERNSHIP Project. Several interns have gained practical ministry skills and if they qualify, can even become certified as a substance abuse counselor. Pioneering ministries requires a lot of help so please pray for more anointed laborers for this work.

We recently have established an exciting intership program that allows indivuduals to come and serve for up to 2 years in practical ministries. We have special areas of focus that include administration, bookkeeping, counseling, prayer ministry, inner healing and youth mentoring. Through special grants with Americorps and Vista we even have stipends available for those who apply and serve with us.

Guam is a US Territory near Japan that is a tremendous stepping stone to reach Asia, and Pacific Island nations. Pray about joining us!
