Saludos! My name is Ps. Jonathon Edwards and I am serving as an International Working in Peru. As part of Betesda - FCC, we are reaching out to the needs of our community near and far. Pastor Julio Cavassa, who is founder of the work, has a great desire to help raise up leaders in the church. We currently are holding monthly pastor's meetings, where we get together to hear the Word and apply it to our lives. The pastors also have the opportunity to share praise reports, prayer concerns and any needs their churches might have. By uniting together we hope to see the Word of God impact the lives of the people of Piura and all of Peru. We also are blessed to be able to host short-term mission teams throughout the year, so if you or your church is interested please contact me. Ministering with Betesda - FCC in Catacaos (Piura), Peru. Our goal is to complete our Training Center which will house a carpenter´s shop, sewing center, and craft center (now operating). Through this we hope to teach not only the youth of our church a working trade, we see this as a means to start small micro-businesses for our adults. We are available to host short-term mission teams and our calendar for 2012 is filling up. We have a few open dates, so if you are interested please contact me. Announcement
Greetings, We are looking for short-term mission teams (construction) for 2012. We have a great need to finish our church and second floor Leadership Training Center. Open dates year round, just keep in mind our summer months are January - March and can reach 100 degeees. If anyone would be interested please contact me at; betesdaministriesperu@gmail.com Tying steel, laying brick, mixing cement, sanding, painting and electrical work. Teams would be housed in a hotel located in the city of Piura, 15 mins. away from our church. Most meals would be provided on site. Your cost would be $55 a day (hotel, meals and transportation), plus 1/2 day of sightseeing. If you cannot commit to a team for next year, but still would like to help in someway.
