| James Stecher | |
Jim Stecher Jim Stecher has a rare teaching and evangelistic gift that has taken him to some of the most exotic and dangerous mission fields around the world. He has conducted leadership conferences in the midst of wars and civil unrest. He was in Haiti during both revolutions when Baby Doc was overthrown and then later Aristide. He held a pastor’s conference, with over 800 in attendance, in Sri Lanka at the height of the war between the Tamil Tigers and Sri Lankan government. He ministered to leadership in Burundi where the war between the Hutus and Tutsis claimed over 300,000 lives just in that nation. He has faced the threat of beheading by radical Muslim groups in South East Asia while conducting leadership training seminars for church pastors. Jim was ministering to church leaders in Jordan when the assault on Fallujah, Iraq began, Yasser Arafat died and George W. Bush was elected to a second term as president of the United States. He has taught in Bible colleges around the world, made three trips to the former Soviet Union, trained leadership in Israel and Jordan, Africa, India, Mexico and the Americas to mention a few. Jim is a 1981 graduate of Elim Bible Institute, a 1994 graduate of State College of Florida and has functioned as a senior pastor, mission’s pastor and church administrator in the past. He helped organize and oversee “The Adventure of Faith” fund raising program that raised over 5 million dollars in three years and saw a 50,000 sq. ft. addition to the seventy acre complex at “The Tabernacle” in Sarasota, Fl. where he was on staff for ten years. His education, experience, expertise and steadfastness qualify him as a courageous leader with much to impart to the body of Christ. Jim’s heart is to help God’s people understand His abundant grace and to rescue and restore those saints that are discouraged and faltering. Jim can be reached for speaking engagements, pastoral counsel or more information at 917-830-4564, 941-376-5895 or glm26@verizon.net. |
