I would love to be able to serve your church or ministry through providing seminars or consultations to your team. I specialize specifically in Strategic Planning, Service Planning, Leadership, Church Assimilation, and Conflict Resolution. I would be glad to talk with you on the phone to discuss how we could work together. |

In case you're interested, Pastor Dan Nagele and Pastor Bern Knefley gave me great reviews in my last Strategic Planning workshop: Being a pastor of a small church plant I wondered what a strategic seminar taught by a pastor of a church the magnitude of Elim Gospel Church would benefit my congregation of 15 members. I wrestled with if the principals would even apply. But once I was into the seminar I found it powerful, enriching, and extremely applicable to where my congregation is. In some ways I thought the information I received was perfect for a church my size and in the formative stages we are in. I took the material Pastor Wayne gave us and taught for 3 weeks. It was a perfect spring board to get organized and set a vision of growth. Thank you Wayne for doing such an excellent job and having a word that would apply to any church size and position.
Wayne, it has been several weeks since your seminar and we are still talking about it. I believe that one of the most important things that we got out of it was the idea of moving a person from point of entry into our church to the place of being fully developed followers of Jesus Christ. We have realized that although we have the right goals, we are lacking in the small steps that it takes a person to get there. All to often we are asking people to take too big a leap and then wonder why they aren't growing or why they left the church. It is also causing us to look closely at our vision and mission. This reassessment is necessary as we move forward as it will ultimately determine our decisions and steps that we will use to get there. Along with this is having the courage to look at what we are currently doing and doing a critical analyst of each area of ministry. In doing this we will be attempting to ascertain if that area of ministry is actually an effective method for reaching our vision and mission. I believe that the seminar taught us that the task before us is not easy and that it will take time. It will also take courage to really look and reflect both outwardly and inwardly on our overall effectiveness in completing the mission and vision which God has given us.
Pastor Bernie Knefley
