joeJoe Jansen - Director U.S. Ministries.

JOE JANSEN has a heart to see people discover and grow into their maximum potential in Christ. Through a motivational and humorous speaking style, he challenges audiences to embrace this principle of personal transformation. Refusing, however, to limit his passion for transformation to the four walls of the church, he extends this vision into the surrounding community.  As a pastor, he challenged denominational and cultural boundaries in the Mohawk Valley and Utica region. He actively served on numerous business committees, religious boards, and non-profit agencies, and he spearheaded the development of a thriving church-run food pantry and community outreach center.  In all of these activities, Joe offered principled, God-centered advice and leadership that made him a sought-after voice in the local community.

Joe also has a passion for fellow pastors and the local church.  For many years, he served as an Area Representative and a Regional Director for Elim Fellowship.  In these capacities, Joe provided guidance, advice and counseling to pastors throughout Central New York on strategies for church growth and maintaining a healthy congregation.  As a result of his work as an Area and Regional Representative, Joe recently accepted an offer to assume the position of United States Ministry Director for Elim Fellowship where he will continue this important ministry at the national level.

Joe received his B.A. from SUNY Oswego and later attended Elim Bible Institute. He and his wife Joann have been married for 27 years, and together they pastored New Life Church in Herkimer, New York for 18 years. They have three adult children.
