Here is the Clark's latest Newsletter! Clarks_Newsletter_May_2010.pdf Subject: Up-date March 27th Date: Saturday, March 27, 2010, 9:45 PM Greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We trust all is well with you. We want to thank you once again for your financial contributions and prayers for us and the people of Haiti. Much is still the same. They are continually clearing rubble and working slowly on establishing refugee camps (glorified tent cities). It rained hard last night which was a mixed blessing. ... The country needed the rain, but many thousands of people were soaked. We thank the Lord that we have already rebuilt one of our pastors homes and his family is out of the rain. Yet, we are sad knowing that two of our other pastors in New Life Mission are still camping out in tents. For one week we have had three teams staying with us, a total of 25 people. Several pitched tents on our flat concrete roof. The city stopped piping water into our house over a week ago, as a result our water tank went dry and the team was without water for three days. We had to do a bucket brigade each day from a neighbors home who still had water in his tank. We eventually got a truck load of water that we had ordered two day previous to this. The teams have been great! They have done food distribution, evangelized in the tent cities, preached in our churches, and blessed our people with many needed things. Also, they worked very hard on the foundation of New Life Church of Croix des Mission which is pastored by Jeanty Osnac. This was the first church that we planted in the mission. Part of the team worked on pastor Sauveur's house that was severely damaged in hopes that they could repair it. In the end they realized that it could not be resurrected and resigned themselves to the fact that the two story structure had to be torn completely down. Pray for safety for all our brothers and sisters in the Lord as crime is on the rise due to the destitute situation in the country. Pray for the hundreds of thousands of people who are still homeless. The need all around us is overwhelming, but we take one step and one day at a time as God allows us to help the people of Haiti. We could not do this without your continued prayers and support. May God richly bless you in every way! Roger & Margaret Clark __________________________________________________________________ Subject: Haiti Update March 12th To all who support us in prayer and giving, We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank God daily for you. We pray that God will bless you in every way. It has now been two weeks since our last update. Also, it has been two weeks since we have had any noticeable after shocks. Praise the Lord! We had several rainy days last week, and people were desperate for tents and tarps. We gave out over 35 tarps last week. Most in Port-au-Prince are still sleeping outside every night. The schools in Port-au-Prince have not re-opened. Maybe this will take place in April. Today will be exactly two months since the earthquake. It can be discouraging to see how little has been accomplished since then through the government and international community. The main park in down town Port-au-Prince is still full of tent people and make shift shelters. It is estimated that 27,000 people live in this park which takes up three square blocks. We thank the Lord that this week we had two people working with us. Al Loyd a former missionary to Haiti, who is a professional counselor, came and held a two day seminar with the pastors here on how to counsel those who have been traumatized, which is almost everyone. Also, he did some counseling with individuals and family groups. We know he helped many people. John Wicks was also here. He is a construction manager, equivalent to a building engineer. His full time ministry is helping churches state side and overseas build facilities. He came to look at the different building projects we have as well as inspect buildings that have not been destroyed and give us ideas how to repair them and strengthen them. We are hoping that he will design, plan and oversee all our building projects for the rest of the year. Remember him in prayer. We are unable to re-open our Bible school this Spring, but we thank the Lord that through the generous gifts of our supporters we were able to pay all of our Bible school teachers salaries for the rest of the school year. Pray for us that God continues to strengthen us and give us the wisdom we need. Roger&Margaret Clark ________________________________________________________ Subject: Fw: Haiti Update - Feb 26th Dear Friends and Family, This week has brought renewed fears. Sunday night it rained about 11PM, so many or our neighbors decided they could sleep inside. We had not had any major aftershocks in at least 2 weeks. Then at 4:30AM we had a 4.7 aftershock that shook the country. Everyone who was inside ran for the doors! There was crashing and screaming as people were very afraid. We have had several hard aftershocks this week. Everyone is sleeping outside again. The news, rumors and stories on the radio are keeping everyone in fear. Some are perhaps true and many are not true. But people in fear will believe many things. Please pray for God's peace to come over this nation. He is the only One who can calm our fears. Roger & I took 3 days 'off' and went to a beach in the south of Haiti. It is our 'favorite getaway' that we have been to several times before. We were not sure if we would find it standing or not, so we packed a tent just in case we had to sleep on the beach. We were very happy when we saw that not only was the hotel standing, but it had no cracks or damage whatsoever! We enjoyed the peace and calm of the ocean and returned well rested. We have a team of 9 with us from Trinidad & Tobago this weekend. They did some work around our house today and gave out 2000 meals and 30 tarps in our neighborhood. Tomorrow they will minister in a local church and set up a prayer ministry tent in a needy area. We are glad they are here with us. As we heard the news of the earthquake in Chile today, our hearts were touched. We can surely relate to their state of mind and the disaster they are experiencing. We have prayed much for them today and ask that you also hold them in prayer. We appreciate each of you. Your prayers and support mean so much to us. We would not be able to stand without your help in the area of prayer. We are extremely blessed to have such a large group of prayer warriors standing with us. Thank you. Serving Him day by day, Roger & Margaret Clark ______________________________________________________________________________. From: Roger Clark Subject: January 20th Update Greetings in the Name of our Lord, Another week has gone by and we are still serving those in need as best that we are able. Or new long bed truck has been a real blessing and a money saver. We have already delivered over 120 12 ft. sheets of corrugated tin, 120 - 1x4x16's, and 80 - 2x4's. Also, we have used it all week picking up food supplies at a warehouse, bringing it to our depot and delivering it to the 8 churches in our mission. The topper for our truck is complete. You will find an attached picture of our new truck with the topper on it. You will see that we have tarps down on all sides of it so that people will not see what we are carrying. People are desperate and if they see you delivering food they could hold you up and take all that you have. This week as I was carrying a load of food to be distributed to the needy, I saw a truck in front of me that was being robbed of sacks of food as the truck was still in motion. I had to dodge six people as they toppled off the truck in front of me with 50 pound sacks of powder milk in their hands. I was truly thankful that our truck was closed in, locked and covered up. We are still giving away tents and tarps. Because we don't have very many we try to give to those who need them the most. Today a friend of ours brought a man to me whose home was totally destroyed. He was sleeping on the ground with a sheet draped over a few sticks. He told me that he was desperate because his wife was almost nine months pregnant and would be delivering any day now. Another person who was living under a sheet shelter on the street came to us and said he needed a tent because he had a wife, a 3 year old, a 2 year old and a 3 month old, and they were getting wet every time it rained. It rains now most every night and many thousands of people stand in the rain all night or seek shelter under some half destroyed building. We have now gathered a complete report on the 8 churches that are under our ministry. 1) 3 churches were destroyed. 2) 3 pastor homes were destroyed. 3) 73 church members homes were destroyed. 4) 156 church members houses were damaged. As far as Bible School teachers and staff, we have 3 who had their homes destroyed and 6 damaged out of 16 people. We still have not been able to locate all of our students at this time. We will not be reopening the Bible school until September. We thank you all for your prayers and generous gifts, and for continuing to stand with us as we stand in God's grace. Pray that God gives us the strength and wisdom we need. Yours in Christ, Roger & Margaret Clark __________________________________________________________ Subject: Update Feb 11, 2010 Dear Friends & Family, It rained last night... In the wee hours of the morning, while everyone was sound asleep, the rain came. It wasn't hard and only lasted about an hour. But thousands of people are still sleeping in "tents" made of sticks and bed sheets. The water flowed down the steets soaking people from underneath as well as from above. I awoke to the sound of the rain, cried and prayed for the people. Continue to pray that some decent camps can be set up for the thousands of displaced, homeless people. We have had several blessings this week. 1. Pastor Eric Scott's work team did a great job on Pastor Jeanty's house. Roger is delivering the tin & wood for the roof today. They will be in their home by next week. That makes 1 house, now on to number 2. 2. We received a dump truck full of food supplies to distribute to those in need. There was rice, beans, dry soup mix, canned meat, protien bars, oil, tents and sleeping bags. We will distribute it in our neighborhood and through our 8 churches. It will provide about 40,000 meals in all. We hope to be receiving more soon. 3. As I am writing this update...we just got our city power restored!!!!! Yeah!!! We have been without city power since Jan 12. We have been able to find fuel to run the generator and for that we are thankful. But city power is better. It is also a sign of progress and restoration in the city. Praise God for POWER!!! Tomorrow marks the one month anniversary of the earthquake. The President of Haiti, Rene Preval, has called for a day of mourning for those lost. He has asked us to fast and pray for Haiti. Many churches across Haiti are extending this for 3 days to include the entire weekend. Won't you consider joining us in fasting and prayer for restoration and revival in Haiti? We are thankful for those who have given and continue to give of their prayers, time and finances. Haiti is on a long road to recovery and we need you to stand with us in it. Serving in His strength, Roger & Margaret _______________________________________________________________________ Subject: Jan. 6th Update Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters, Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are at the end of another week. We have had a work team with us from Celebrate Family Church that is pastored by Eric Scott. They have been a great blessing. They brought us many things like tarps, tents, food, hygiene supplies, and medica lsupplies. We have given these things to our pastors to be distributed among the needy in their communities. This team has been working at re-building a pastors house in our mission that was destroyed by the earthquake. The pastor is Jeanty Osnac. They have worked very hard on it and made great progress. We are truly thankful for all they have done. If you are wanting to send a team, please contact us. There are several who have shown a desire to send a team, and we are waiting on confirmation of their dates, and flight times. One of the team members taught a three day seminar on how to build a solar water filter system and at the end gave two of our pastors the systems they built together. These will provide pure drinking water for their community. We praise God for our new multipurpose truck that we purchased on Wednesday of this week. We have already been using it extensively. It will be a help and blessing for many years to come. Thank you to each who contributed to this truck and also to each who have given towards the relief effort here in Haiti. This coming week we are looking at rest and planning for the weeks ahead when we have more teams coming to work. We will try our best to keep you all posted on the progress here. Thank you for your continued prayers for wisdom and strength. Resting in His Hands, Roger & Margaret Clark PS - check our blog site later today for pictures. www.newlifehaiti.blogspot.com _____________________________________________________________________________ Subject: Haiti Up-date Jan. 30th Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010, 6:14 PM Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior! We want to thank all of you for your prayers and gracious support of our ministry and the people of Haiti. We are presently between teams. We have been trying to get a little rest, but it is somewhat difficult. It is hard not to be stressed and very saddened by what we see, but God is giving us strength for each day. Most recently, we have been helping one of our pastors rebuild his home, Jeanty Osnac. They are in the process of re-doing and strengthening the foundation. Pastor Jeanty is the pastor under us who overseas the spiritual needs of our pastors and churches. He and his wife are powerful ministers of the Gospel. They are founders of our mother church which runs around 500 people every Sunday. At present, their church has been destroyed and they are meeting in an open area under the elements of God's creation, yet, we know God will meet their needs according to His riches in glory. We have a church coming in this week to put up the walls and roof of his home. The devastation here is great, but God is greater. Many pastors and Christians have lost their homes and our hearts weep for them. Yet, we know God will bring good out of this seemingly hopeless situation. We thank the Lord we have not had any considerable quakes now for four days in our area. As result, we are sleeping with more ease in our home. Yet, every night most of our neighbors sleep in the street, fearing to go in their homes even though they are undamaged. Fear still grips many here. As of today, many of the victims have not received the basics of life like shelter, food, and water. There is a Christian organization here who tells us they have many supplies available, but are not able to get them out of the ports and customs. They will give us some of it when they are able to obtain them. This is frustrating and heart wrenching as we know of many personally who are in great need. A verse that comes to mind is 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 - "7But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." P.S. - I am attaching some articles that might help you see the picture more clearly. Yours in Christ, Roger & Margaret Clark _____________________________________________________________________________ Subject: Update, Tuesday, Januray 26 Date: Tuesday, January 26, 2010, 7:40 PM Sunday we were able to meet with another church to worship. It was a great service with much ministering to one another. We are all tired and sad in heart, but God is Good and His Spirit was present to comfort, encourage and heal. He truely never leaves us...Praise Him for that. Pastor Jeanty has been clearing the rubble form both his church and home so that the first construction teams can begin to rebuild. We will start with his house. This first construction team will arrive on Feb 1, just a few days from now. Roger will go tomorrow to try and find some construction supplies. The stores that are able are open for business as much as they can. There is a lot of clean up to do, even inside as everything was shaken off the shelves. The grocery store near us was damaged badly. But he is open to liquidate all his merchandise and then he will close until repairs can be made. In some ways life is beginning to return to 'normal'. But in other ways it will be a long time before it is what it was. Many are selling on the streets again. Others have returned to work even though they may have no home to live in. The government is talking about opening schools again in March or April, but many of them are fallen down or badly damaged. Roger and I have been doing a lot of praying and planning what will be the best way to proceed. We will begin construction teams soon and try to rebuild some of what was lost. We had planned to travel to the States for the months of March & April, but will not do that now. We feel we need to be here with the people to aid and support them as much as God will allow us to do. We are so very thankful for your prayers and your wonderful gifts. It is overwhelming to us the love you have shown not only for us, but for our Haitian brothers and sisters. Under His Wings, Roger & Margaret PS - The earth is still shaking some, but not as hard and not as often. ____________________________________________________________________________ Subject: update, Saturday Jan 22 Date: Saturday, January 23, 2010, 9:05 PM It has been 10 days since the initial earthquake and 36 hours since the last aftershock. Is it over? Has the earth finally 'settled'? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we wait and put our trust in the Lord. He is our refuge and strong tower. We are tired and our nerves are a bit on edge. The airplanes and helicopters that fly overhead day and night make the same 'rumble' that proceeds every aftershock. So they keep us on our toes. Most people are still sleeping in the streets. We are in our house and sleeping fairly well. We all need the peace of Christ in our hearts. We hosted a medical team from Mission of Mercy this week. There were 10 Doctors and nurses. They were able to see over 600 people in 3 days. They were amazingly effecient and a great blessing to the area of Arcachon 32 (about 20 minutes from us). This area was hit very hard by the quake. They left today to return to the States. We are thankful for the lives they were able to touch and for the healing they helped to bring. Please pray for the English speaking church that Roger and I are part of. The building we were meeting in has been turned into a much needed medical building. Therefore, our church body has no place to meet. This is very disheartening to us because there are many in the church that have lost homes and family. They are hurting and need ministering to also. We will be joining another church body for the time being, but it is not the same as being 'at home with the family'. As you meet for worshp tomorrow remember, there are many other churches across the city that have lost their places of worship too. Pray that the Lord will quickly restore His house and strengthen the body of Christ that we may in turn minister to others. We thank each of you for the gifts you have already sent. WOW is our God great! We are blessed just hearing about the giving. We know that God is moving in Haiti in a unique way these days. We believe that He will restore what has been lost and bless beyond even what was. We are glad to be His servants in this day. Under His Wings, Roger & Margaret Clark ___________________________________________________________________________________ Subject: Update Haiti, Jan 21 Dear friends and family, We are so thankful for your prayers. We continue to serve one day at a time with what God puts before us to do. Yesterday started with a 6.1 aftershock that left us all quite shaken. Many had just returned to sleeping in their homes. They are now back on the street. We have continued to sleep inside, trusting the Lord to watch over us. By 9AM we received a medical team of 10 from Mission of Mercy by way of Mission of Hope here in Haiti. We took them directly to a hard hit area and they were set up under a tent and seeing patients by noon. Today they are taking teams of 3 into the 'tent' areas to meet the needs of those who can't get to the clinic areas. They will work in the same area tomorrow and then go home on Saturday. We are glad that they are able to help those they are meeting. There are many frustrations we are facing. The biggest of these would be communication, both local and with teams wanting to come. PLEASE...if you are planning on sending a team to Haiti, designate ONE person to communicate with us about that team. It will simplify our lives greatly and help alleviate any miscommunications. Thank you. Prayer needs: 1. for strength 2. for clear minds to make good decisions 3. for God's wisdom in how to proceed 4. for the hurting, hungry and homeless all around us Thank you for standing with us. Serving Him, Roger & Margaret _______________________________________________________________________________ Subject: We are OK Date: Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 2:05 PM We had another big shake this morning...we are OK and the house is standing. We lost internet until just now. We have had a full morning getting a medical team of 10 set up to work. They are now treating some wounded. They will be with us for several days. I am sorry if I cannot respond to all your emails...we are getting just too many...we hardly have time to read them all. Standing firm on the rock, Margaret & Roger _______________________________________________________________________________ Update Haiti Jan 19 Dear Friends and Family, I want to thank each of you for your prayers, gifts and notes of encouragement. They mean a great deal to us. Today Roger went to visit Pastor Jeanty. He and his wife are OK. Their house is partially fallen down and the church is completely destroyed. There were people at the church starting to clear away the rubble because they want to start having open air services in the church lot by Sunday. They had door to door (or tent to tent) ministry last Sunday and had 280 new converts. So, they are anxious to have a place to meet, even if it is out in the open. We praise God for this couple and the evangelistic calling God has on their lives. Also, today, we did the 'routine' of charging telephones, filtering water for the neighbors and just talking with folks that come by to see how we are. Everyone is still very shaken, in need of a place to share their story and find a sympathetic shoulder. And so we try to be the ears of Jesus as well as the hands and feet. Tomorrow we a medical team of 10 arriving. We will house them and deliver them to several locations to work. They will be here about a week. Pray for strength as we serve the needs of those who are serving. We will close this update tonight with another thank you to each of you. Know that we feel your prayers and love as do the people of Haiti. Resting in Him, Roger & Margaret PS - Roger was able to FILL UP the car today after waiting in line for over an hour. _____________________________________________________________________________ Update – Haiti Jan 18 PM Well, I haven’t felt any aftershocks for 24 hours, although Roger felt a small one when he was about an hour from here this afternoon. The morning started with searching out fuel. The diesel Roger had gotten on the street was really clogging up the generator. But, Praise God, there was one gas station open in our area today. It was mobbed with people wanting to fill gallons with fuel. There was no way a car could even get close. Thankfully, Roger ran into an old friend, who we hadn’t seen in years. We used to live in the same house, about 20 years ago!!! He was able to help Roger get to the front and buy 5 gallons of diesel and 5 gallons of gasoline, at the regular prices!!! Don’t’ ever take your friends for granted, you never know when you will need their help! Praise God for fuel and friends. All this took until about noon. After a quick peanut butter & jelly sandwich, Roger was off again to deliver food and visit 2 of our pastors. He was able to deliver food to an orphanage close by that had been without food for 2 days. We heard about them through someone in the States who wrote by email. They will now have food for several days. Roger then continued out of town in the direction of the worst of the disaster to visit Pastor Augustin and Pastor Sauveur. These men both pastor churches under our ministry. Pastor Augustin’s church sustained very little damage. It was an unfinished building and a few parts of walls fell down, but most is sound. His house also had some minimal damage, but is livable. Pastor Sauveur’s church is fine, but their newly built kitchen and bathrooms are beyond repair. His house also was damaged pretty good. It will need some major work. Both of the pastors and their families are unharmed and in good spirits. Roger gave each of them some food to distribute to those in greatest need in their congregations and neighborhoods. We just got word that we may be hosting a medical team starting on Wednesday. These Doctors would be coming to us through Mission of Hope and would work in several different areas. Pray that we can work out all the logistics of this. WE ARE THANKFUL:
Haiti Update Jan 17 – PM Today was another full day. We were able to give out about 700 food packets, each making 4-5 meals. The neighborhood committee took a census yesterday and found there are 64 family units on our short street. Many of them have more that 10 in the family. That’s a lot of people for our small area. We also filtered about 100 gallons of drinking water for the community with our little family filter which took about 2.5 hours. Our fuel is low in the car, so we must stay close to home as much as possible. We were able to get a few phone calls and text messages from our workers. We heard from Pastor Sauveur and Pastor Augustin. They are both well, but no real details yet. Our school secretary, Avin, sent a text saying ‘we are alive’ meaning him and his wife. They live in Leogone, one of the hardest hit areas. Their home is completely destroyed and they are living in the yard. We were also blessed to hear of gifts that have been coming in for the relief work here. A huge thank you to each of you who have given and who continue to pray for Haiti We continue to communicate with several groups that are planning to come over the next few weeks. It is difficult to plan as we do not know what will be available when. The US marines are supposed to arrive tomorrow. Hopefully the added security will allow some businesses to begin to function. Only time will tell. Know that we appreciate your emails. We are getting so many every day it is overwhelming. So, if we don’t respond, it is not that we didn’t get it. We are just very busy these days. Standing firm and strong in the Lord, finding strength under His wings, Roger & Margaret ______________________________________________________________________________ Update – Sat Jan 16, 2010 Yesterday we were told we would receive some food aid today to distribute to those in need. Praise God! We are awaiting its arrival. Roger was out helping folks with various things yesterday, from finding diesel fuel, to finding medicines, to helping move rubble, to planning for security in our area. He had a meeting with the men of our area to plan a ‘security committee’ for the families around us. It is a good unifying action. This morning Roger organized the removal of rubble at the end of our street so that vehicles are now able to pass by. There were about a dozen men who helped and they made only a small dent in the rubble of the house that fell. But the street is now passable. The rest will have to wait for some heavy equipment to move it. I spent most of yesterday answering email and helping to coordinate some aid that will be coming in the next few weeks. It is difficult to make plans as there is still no phone communication from our area. Many people are asking questions I cannot answer and it became so overwhelming to me, that several times I just had to stop and go do something else. I had requests about everything from the availability of food & water, to the need for medical teams, to where to deliver food, to what is available to purchase when we arrive, to where can we land a helicopter! So many things are still unknown. We are living ‘on the edge’ emotionally. Sometimes it all just overwhelms us and we must stop to regroup. Pray for strength and wisdom. We still have not heard from one of our pastors. We did hear that Pastor Augustin is OK, as is his house. Not sure of the church yet. Pastor Jeanty and wife are OK although their house and church are destroyed. We have only heard from 4 out of 20 Bible school teachers and staff. This is mostly due to the lack of telephone service. Pray that this will be restored soon. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Haiti Update January 14 Wow! We are back online. Greetings from Haiti. First let me say that Roger & I are OK and our house/Bible school is still standing. We were able to send an email right after the initial earthquake, but since then we have not had access to the internet…until now. So, since I do not know how long I will have it, I will send this message before I read any that you have sent. I hope it will answer some of your questions. We have been able to get CNN news on the TV and their reporting seems to be fairly accurate according to what we see and hear around us. On our street there were several buildings/houses that fell and some had people trapped in them. Some have been removed and others cannot be reached. It is heartbreaking. We are amazed and praising God that our 4 story building is still standing. It did sustain some damage. We have some large cracks in the first floor walls and will eventually have to have an assessment of what they mean. We continue even now, Thursday at 10AM, to have strong aftershocks, which are most unsettling. We slept on the street in front of our house last night. All of Port-au-Prince is sleeping on the street, afraid to go back into their houses. On our street alone there are probably 200 hundred people living/sleeping outside since Tuesday evening. They do go into their houses to fetch things, but then go back out as quickly as they can. It is difficult to find food/ drinking water, etc. There is very little transportation, no stores were open yesterday and the open market was empty. Roger and I took a short walk yesterday morning to see what the immediate area held. It was awful. So many buildings were down. The 4 story building that we used to live in on the main road just collapsed into a heap of rubble. There were gas stations that caught fire, one was still burning. There is a “Doctor’s without Boarders” clinic just 2 blocks from our house. They were overrun immediately after the initial shock. There were people lying in the street waiting to be seen. We can hear people from there crying day and night. It is unnerving. We are doing what we can for the folks in our immediate area. Yesterday we filtered water for our neighbors. We have a filter that can do 5 gallons in about 12 minutes…but we must have water and electricity. The city power has been cut off since Tuesday afternoon. We have been able to run our generator a bit, but are just about out of fuel. Roger has gone looking for some now…not sure how much that will cost!!! We have heard from some of our pastors, but not all. Phone communication is almost non-existent. Only one phone company is working and even that is very sporadic. Those we have heard from are all well. They include, Patrick L Michel, Ylophane Dieuseul, Sem Dodain (his wife delivered their 1st child yesterday and all is well). We also heard from Carrenan Lisson and all is well with him. We will continue to try and reach the others. If these thoughts sound a bit ‘disconnected’ it is because it is all still so fresh and I am still in a bit of shock myself. I just wanted to get some information out to you. Please pray for Haiti. This is such a major disaster and there is no one in the country that is not affected by it. Our lives are forever changed. There is a need for aid to many associated with us and the work of New Life Mission of Haiti. There are houses in need of repair or rebuilding. There will be a need for food, water, and medical help. There will be funeral expenses. We also expect the cost of living to increase drastically due to overall situation. If you want to give towards helping those in need you can do so through Elim Fellowship. No amount is too much or to little. The devastation is so great. Just mark your gift “Roger Clark – Haiti Relief”. Send to: 1703 Dalton Rd, Lima, NY 14485, or visit their website at www.elimfellowship.org We thank you in advance and will write again when we are able. Margaret & Roger Clark |
