Start the Credential Process Here PDF Print
The process of joining Elim Fellowship and receiving ministerial credentials is not complicated but we take it very seriously. Endorsement of an individual as an Ordained Minister takes serious consideration. Experience, biblical knowledge and maturity are expected of the candidate seeking this title.
Not every one is at the experience, biblical knowledge and maturity level of an ordained minister and that is why we have several levels of ministry recognition designed to help people grow into full ordination status. One of these levels will fit you now and give your calling the opportunity to develop.

There are several steps involved in the credentialing process and if at any time they seem confusing simply call Elim Fellowship and our credentialing secretary will be glad to personally walk you through the process.

Step 1. The first step in receiving credentials is deciding what level of credential fits your current level of experience, biblical knowledge and maturity. For an explanation read the Three Credential Options and decide which best fits your situation.

Step 2. It is important that you understand the mission, purpose, core values, by-laws and policies of Elim Fellowship. Though the reading may seem dry you wouldn't want to be a part of a group that you didn't have a basic understanding of and agreement with. Click here to view the Elim Fellowship Constitution, By-Laws and Policies.  This will open a PDF document that you can either read on line or print out to read at your leisure.

Step 3. Now comes filling out the application.  Click here to open the application form to start the "Credential Process."  Again, this will open a PDF document which you can save to your own computer and fill out at your leisure.  Of you wish you can print it out and fill it in manually and mail it in.  This is a detailed application, but we feel endorsing an individual's ministry through Elim Fellowship is not to be taken lightly.

Step 4. Mail the application in along with the application fee.  Be sure that e-mail addresses are included for all of the required references.  Using e-mails for obtaining references has proven to be of great assistance in moving the process along in a timely manner.  Please encourage your references to respond as quickly as possible as this is the area that most often slows up the credentialing process. The credentialing office will then obtain your credit report and perform a criminal background check.  All of this material will be reviewed by a committee of the Council of Elders and then you will be contacted.

We appreciate your interest in prayerfully considering the possibility of having ministerial credentials with Elim Fellowship. We feel honored that you would consider joining the team and growing into your full ministry call with us. We want to be the place where you can find the friendships, experience, biblical knowledge, and support that you need to fulfill your destiny.
